Save the date

A flyer code that drops the date straight into the diary

Add one QR code to your flyer, invite or poster and let people add your event to their phone calendar in a tap. They get the date, time, place and a reminder, so far more of them actually turn up.

HOW TO

How to recreate it with qr.lnkz.in

  1. Create a code with an event destination

Make a new QR code and choose the event destination kind, then enter the title, date and time, location and a short description so a scan offers to add it to the calendar.

  2. Brand and print it

Add your colours and logo, export a PNG or SVG, and put the code on your flyers, posters, invites and social graphics.

  3. Update the details once if anything moves

If the date slips or the venue changes, update the event details once. Every printed flyer and poster already out there offers the new details from then on, with no reprinting.

  4. Track the saves

Review the scan analytics to see how many people scanned to save the date and from where, so you can judge interest before the day arrives.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What happens when someone scans a save-the-date QR code?

Their phone offers to add the event to their calendar, complete with the title, date and time, location and description, in a single tap. There is nothing to install.

Can I change the date or venue after the flyers are printed?

Yes. You update the event details once from your dashboard and every printed flyer, poster and invite offers the new date and venue, so a change does not mean reprinting.

Does this work for workshops, classes and webinars?

Yes. It suits any event with a fixed date, from fitness classes and supper clubs to open days and online webinars, putting the date and a reminder straight into the diary.
